The University has joined the Crossref community! This is a community of scholarly publishers working in the interest of improving the research ecosystem to help connect content of member organizations with the global network and make research objects easy to find, cite, link, assess, reuse and expand discoverability.

Our membership allows us to generate Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for content which include journal and journal articles, books, conference proceedings, datasets, dissertations, and reports to mention but a few. Request to get DOIs for research publications of faculties and departments can be forwarded to the university library via via email:

Kindly note that the following:

  1. Articles for DOI registration should have been accepted for publication
  2. The request should be sent before production of the print copy
  3. Journal should have ISSN
  4. Journal must have a web presence

Thank you.
