The Makerspace is located on the first floor of the university library. The space is designed for interactive learning with several elements that encourage collaborative efforts and innovation. Educational software available in space includes: MatLab, AutoCard, Sage 50 Accounting, Coreldraw, Rhino, Nvivo, Eviews, SPSS, and Endnote.
Other facilities available are: mobile interactive board, hanging projector screen, a grouping of both C-shaped and S-shaped sofas with central tables, and cluster of hexagonal sofas.
Faculty, staff, and current UNILAG students are free to use the space from 9:00am to 5:00pm (Monday to Friday).
Reservation and Usage Policies
- The space is for faculty, staff, and current UNILAG students only
- Reservation form should be filled and submitted in advance
- Only one reservation is allowed per day for any person/group
- Two hours is allocated for each booking
- Noise levels should be kept at a minimum so as not to disturb other users
- Furniture should not be moved without the permission of the Officer-In-Charge of the space
- Personal belongings should not be left unattended
