DR ONAADE J. OJO

img4OJO, J. Onaade is a cataloguer in the technical department of University of Lagos main library. He holds BLS (Hons) Library and Information Science, M.Sc in Sociology and MLS in Library and Information Science. He is currently doing is PhD in Information Resources Management. He has worked extensively and acquired various experience in the field of library and information science at differently strata of the society, spanning from both private, civil society based organisations (NGOs) and foreign embassy. He is currently working as a civil servant in the academic staff unit of University of Lagos. He has published both locally and internationally for the past few years on a broad range of LIS topics, such as information brokerage, information management, information diversity and competiveness, indigenous knowledge and intellectual property. Others are informal sector in academic environment, academic mentorship and electronic information utilization and information and communication technology. He is a human rights activist, with gender equality and information for development practitioner. His hobby includes reading, travelling, farming and documenting etc.
